Covid 19 is a virus that is making people very sick and making life very hard.

Scott voice over:

All of New Zealand is in lockdown and people have to stay at home.

Scott voice over:

This lockdown is called Alert level 4.

Scott voice over:

You might need some extra help right now.

This video is about how you get the help you need from Transition Support while New Zealand is dealing with COVID 19.

Transition support is for young people between 15 and 25 years old who have been in care, or who have spent time in a Youth Justice residence, remand or custody.

Scott voice over:

Transition support can help you stay safe during alert level 4.

We can help with emergency needs and getting other support and services that you need.

Transition Support is an essential service.

This means the Transition Support team are still working during the COVID-19 lockdown.

If you have a Transition Worker, they’ll be contacting you.

Your Transition Worker wants to make sure you’re okay.

They’ll check if you need any help.
