How funding works
We provide funding to NGOs, strategic partners and communities to help us deliver services that support children and young people.
Code of Funding Practice
The funding Code of Practice provides the principles that govern the way Oranga Tamariki works with NGOs when using public funds to benefit communities.
Social Service Procurement Policy
We work with a wide range of partners to provide social services. The Social Service Procurement Policy describes how Oranga Tamariki undertakes social service procurement.

Oranga Tamariki works with around 60 care partners that provide safe homes and places to live for children in care. Together we designed changes for Partnered Care that focus on experiences and outcomes and meet the National Care Standards.
Workforce Working Group
The Workforce Working Group's plan focusses on four goals to achieve a workforce that enables tamariki or children and whānau or families to flourish.
Provider service reporting
Provider organisations and groups assist us to deliver services to families, whānau and children in care. Our providers report back to us regularly on their work.
